Kayala Ayala
Practice ManagerHi, my name is Kayala and I’m a native to Colorado. I’ve been a receptionist with Coal Ridge for 2 years and have taken upon the role of being the new practice manger. I have been working in the veterinary field for 5 years and I’m currently going to school for an associate degree in business management and veterinary technician. When I’m not working, I’m enjoying family time with my husband and 2 boys (age 11 and 16) as well as taking care of my mini ranch that I have that consists of many farm animals and my pets. I love gardening, crafts, beekeeping and taking care of my family.
Maggie Gebhardt
GroomerNine years ago, I began my journey in the world of animals, working at a boarding facility as part of their kennel staff. Starting as a bather, I discovered my passion for pet care, eventually becoming a dedicated groomer over the past three years.
Outside of the grooming studio, my life includes two cats and a ball python. Beyond pampering pets, I find joy in hiking and rock climbing, embracing the beauty of Colorado since my move from Illinois in 2017.
Committed to creating a positive grooming experience, my goal is to blend expertise with compassion, ensuring every pet leaves my care looking and feeling their best.
Stacia Silva
Lead Vet Tech/CVT Vet TechStacia is a native of Colorado and grew up in Broomfield. She did pharmaceutical research while working on her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, at the University of Colorado in Boulder. She always knew her heart belonged working with animals! And she’s pursuing her dream of becoming a Credentialed Veterinary Technician. At home, she keeps busy with her 3 rescue dogs- Mya, Ellie & Roxy, as well as Cat- Zoey! And loves spending time with her husband and 2 boys!
Erik
Vet TechHello, my name is Erik. I am a vet tech that works throughout every aspect of the hospital, so you will see me wearing multiple hats throughout the year. I have been here since the animal hospital opened. I love working with the animals making sure that they are provided with a fun and safe environment. There is nothing more rewarding than getting a nervous dog to become comfortable with the staff.
SUE
Vet TechSue has resided in Colorado since 1983 and has worked at Coal Ridge since 2002. Sue started working in the Kennel and continues to help us throughout our business. She likes to spend her free time with her family, gardening or with her pets: eleven in all, which include 4 horses, 2 dogs and 5 cats.
TARA
Vet TechI have been with Coal Ridge since 2003 and worked as the receptionist but am currently am the Lead Veterinarian Technician. I love working with animals and can’t see myself doing anything else, anywhere else. When I’m not helping take care of your pets, I’m at home taking care of my own; 3 dogs, 3 cats and 3 children.
